When we moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast in QLD, we quickly added bee hives to our Bamboo Heaven home. Now much of our time is taken up with beekeeping and providing delicious honey and beeswax. Sunshine Coast beekeeping is a breeze compared to other areas of the country that experience harsh winters. We run Introduction to Beekeeping courses as well as giving educational talks to schools.

The property has 25 different species of bamboo, with some of them towering over 20m in height. There are also numerous Heliconias and Gingers gracing our beautiful rainforest space, which has made it the ideal spot for organic tropical produce - and the bees love it.

We now run Introduction to Beekeeping courses.
